The Power of Alkaline Nasal Rinsing
Inspired by Peter Jentschura’s book “Health by Purification” (“Gesundheit durch Entschlackung”)
How It Works
The preparation is simple. Dissolve a small pinch of alkaline bath carboates in a glass of warm water. Pour a bit of this solution into the hollow of your hand and gently sniff it through the nose until it reaches the throat area. This process can be repeated several times.
According to Jentschura, such rinses can help cleanse and refresh the nasal, sinus, and throat regions. They may support the comfort and balance of the head, jaw, and ear areas and help the body maintain clear passages and a light, open feeling.
“Alkaline rinsing harmonizes and cleanses — it’s a simple daily ritual of self-care and clarity.”
Areas That May Benefit
- Frontal and sinus areas (Kopfhöhlen und Stirnhöhlen)
- Jaw and nasal passages (Kiefer und Nasehöhlen)
- Throat and mouth region (Rachen und mund)
- Ear and eye (Ohren und Augen)
Regular alkaline rinsing may help the body keep these regions clear and resilient — especially in times of dryness, seasonal changes, or exposure to environmental irritants.
A Gentle Note
Alkaline nasal rinsing is a self-care and wellness practice, not a medical treatment. It is intended to support natural well-being and does not replace professional medical advice. Always listen to your body and consult a qualified healthcare practitioner if symptoms persist.
