We open the pools in fixed bathing periods. So every trip starts with a look at the dates — then come the flight, the ferry and the last stretch to the bathhouse. Here you’ll find what we know for sure, and what we’ll sort out with you personally.
When you can come

We bathe in fixed bathing periods around the full moon. Outside these periods, we only open for groups by arrangement. Our team keeps the dates up to date — what you see here is always current.

The women’s bathing day falls on the full moon
The “Full Moon Women’s Day” — twelve hours, women only, with a women’s circle and breathwork — takes place on the day of the full moon. Please enquire separately.
First the date, then the flight
Your enquiry is not a booking. We reply personally and agree on the date with you — only book your flight once your bathing day is confirmed.
The way to the island
Three stages. And a day to spare.
Koh Phangan has no airport. You fly somewhere nearby, take the ferry and cover the last stretch by land. Connections and prices change — so we don’t list any here, to avoid leaving anything incorrect on the page.
- Stage 1
Flight to Bangkok, Koh Samui or Surat Thani
From Europe, usually via Bangkok. From there you continue to Koh Samui or Surat Thani — both are on the Gulf of Thailand, and ferries run from both to the island.
- Stage 2
Ferry to Koh Phangan
From Koh Samui the crossing is short; from the mainland near Surat Thani it takes longer. It’s best to check the timetables shortly before you travel — depending on the season and the sea, services can be cancelled or rescheduled.
- Stage 3
From the port to the bathhouse
Take a taxi or arrange a pick-up — not a scooter if you don’t know the island yet. On the first morning we meet at the bathhouse at 7:50. Most places to stay also rent out scooters.

No partnership, no commission — enquiries and bookings go directly through the accommodation. Prices are as stated by the bathhouse, as of October 2026, and vary by season; the provider’s prices are binding. Routes calculated with OpenStreetMap routing; Airbnb only shows approximate locations.
Choose your accommodation so that you can be at the bathhouse at 7:50 in the morning without rushing — by scooter, all seven are within a quarter of an hour. If you’re unsure, tell us in your enquiry where you’re staying.
Before you fly
Four things to know first. Then you’re ready to go.
SIM card
You can get a Thai prepaid SIM at the airport or on the island. For questions about your date, WhatsApp is enough. On the bathing day itself, your phone stays off — not in flight mode, off.
Cash in baht
You pay in cash on the first morning, in baht or euros, or in advance by bank transfer. For a confirmed reservation, you can pay a deposit. Without a deposit, your pool is not firmly reserved. We only secure your pool for you once you’ve paid or made a deposit.
Rainy season
Koh Phangan has a rainy season with heavy showers and rougher seas. The pools are under a roof. If your dates fall in those months, mention it in your enquiry — we’ll tell you honestly what that means for the ferry and the bathing day.
Language
At the bathhouse we speak German, English, Russian, Thai and Burmese. You get the introduction, the guidance in the water and the closing reflection in the language you feel comfortable in.
Now you know the window. We’ll agree on the day with you personally.
