Gunther with freshly pressed juices

Juices, soups, salads — this is how we eat around a bathing day.

What “alkaline” means here. Alkaline-forming and acid-forming describe how a food is classified in the acid-base table (PRAL logic) — a calculated value, not a statement about effects in the body. The 80/20 rule of thumb — 80% alkaline-forming foods, 20% good acid-forming foods — is our experience-based model from the alkaline kitchen, not a diet plan. Bathmaster, not a doctor: these recipes are cooking, not therapy. Experience-based model

From the plate to the water

Food is one half. The bath is the other.

Alkaline cooking goes hand in hand with the long bath — light before the bathing day, warm and filling afterwards. How the bath itself works is explained on the basics page; the complete protocol for home is in the Homebathing course.

How alkaline bathing works

pH, temperature, time — the three levers, the phases in the water and the limits, explained on one page.
