Before you get into the water

The house rules of the bathhouse. Word for word.

Our pools are spaces for rest, regeneration and mindfulness. You receive the documents in advance digitally; on your first bathing day, printed copies are ready for signature — after signing, you can start right away. Access to the pools is only permitted with a signed disclaimer.

House Rules (Pool Usage)

1) Respect & Privacy

Bathing in our pools is done naked. The water is made milky by the carbonates and provides visual protection — no one will or should see you naked. Use the code word “Toilet” whenever you leave or re-enter the pool. In that moment, all guests and our team respectfully turn away so you can move freely and unobserved. The same applies to you when someone else uses the code word — please also turn away respectfully. Photo and video recordings are forbidden in the entire pool area.

2) Boundaries & Respectful Conduct

Our team supports you with small gestures or hints if needed — never with physical or sexual intent. Flirting, advances or disrespectful behavior toward guests or staff is forbidden. In case of violations, we unfortunately have to exclude you from the retreat without refund and ask you to leave.

3) Preparation

Eat easily digestible food the day before (e.g. fruit, vegetables) to relieve your body. Please bring two large, dry towels to wrap yourself in. As you will use the toilet several times throughout the day, your towel will become damp over time; a fresh towel after about six hours is more comfortable. Take photos of your face, palms, body and any existing wounds/skin irritations or rashes before bathing, so you can compare them the following day. Please also note your weight before bathing and on the day after.

4) Silence & Mindfulness

The pools are places of inner calm. Speak softly and only when necessary. Electronic devices (phones, laptops, headphones) must be switched off (not airplane mode) and are not allowed in the pool area.

5) Behavior in the Water

Move calmly and deliberately so as not to disturb your own process or that of others. If you feel unwell, leave the pool slowly and let our team know if you need support.

6) Wellness Character & No Medical Advice

This retreat is exclusively for well-being (wellness). We give no medical instructions, make no diagnoses and do not replace a doctor's visit. We make no health promises. You decide about participation on your own responsibility.

Addendum to 6) No therapy, no psychology

We are neither therapists nor psychologists. If you have or have had mental health problems, please tell us in advance. Then we will decide together whether we can hold the space for you. This spares you being excluded on the bathing day — and the awkward feeling if we had to ask you to stop bathing.

7) Food & Substances

Our provided food and drinks support your cleansing process. Please do not bring your own food or drinks — if something is important to you, let us know in advance. Alcohol, nicotine and other stimulants are not allowed during your stay.

8) Mindful Handling of Rooms & Materials

Treat facilities, materials and nature with care so that everyone can experience a pleasant atmosphere.

9) No Advertising or Offers

This retreat is a place of rest and personal well-being. To preserve this special atmosphere, we ask all participants not to make private or business offers during their stay, or to promote services or products. Our guests come here to retreat and focus entirely on themselves — please respect this protected space.

10) Re-Bathing (optional)

In some cases, guests report itching after bathing. From our experience, the pores close when leaving the pool, and remaining substances in the pores can then trigger itching. This is not medical advice and does not replace consultation with a doctor. Options for itching: endure (often 1–3 days), sauna and extensive showering, or re-bathe to open the pores again. Re-bathing usually takes 2–4 hours until the itching completely subsides; then the bath is ended again. Please inform us as soon as possible if re-bathing is an option for you, so we can — if possible — provide a pool. Re-bathing is subject to availability and is charged before starting (¼ of a day price).

11) Payment, Changes & Cancellation

Payment always in advance — either for all booked bathing days or each morning before bathing. For cancellations less than 12 hours before start, or if the pool has already been prepared, we charge 1,500 THB for our effort (also applies to NO SHOW — i.e. failure to appear). Once a bathing day has started (entering the water), it counts as fully rendered; a (partial) refund on interruption is excluded. Exceptions in medical emergencies at the operator's discretion. Fairness clause: if something changes for you or you don't feel well, you can cancel booked or even paid days or — if spots are available — reschedule them. Your well-being comes first. If the pool has already been prepared, only the effort flat rate of 1,500 THB applies.

As of 2026. On the morning of your arrival you will receive a printed copy to sign; access to the pools is only permitted with a signed liability waiver.

Courses in English

Our courses are not available in English yet.

Right now, our courses are only available in German. We are planning to launch them in English in mid-2027.

Until then, Gunther explains how long alkaline bathing works in a free English video — no sign-up needed.
