Kale, pineapple and ginger juice
Bold greens with tropical sweetness: kale, pineapple, cucumber and ginger.

Kale, pineapple and ginger juice — 2 glasses, 10 minutes
Method
3 steps, 10 minutes.
- Wash the kale leaves, remove the thick stalks and roll the leaves up.
- Feed the kale into the juicer between the pineapple and the cucumber so the leaves get pulled through.
- Add the ginger last, stir and drink straight away.
Why alkaline
100%alkaline-forming ingredients, estimated using PRAL logic
Kale, pineapple, cucumber and ginger are alkaline-forming — the pineapple takes away the kale’s bitterness.

Tip from the kitchen
In summer, pointed cabbage or chard can replace the kale.
What “alkaline” means here. Alkaline-forming and acid-forming describe how a food is classified in the acid-base table (PRAL logic) — a calculated value, not a statement about effects in the body. The 80/20 rule of thumb — 80% alkaline-forming foods, 20% good acid-forming foods — is our experience-based model from the alkaline kitchen, not a diet plan. Bathmaster, not a doctor: these recipes are cooking, not therapy. Experience-based model
