Apple, pear, kiwi, grapes and orange with lemon and fresh mint — crunchy, no sugar, with toasted almonds.

Fruit salad with mint, lemon and almonds — 2 servings, 15 minutes
Method
4 steps, 15 minutes.
- Toast the slivered almonds in a dry frying pan until golden brown and set aside.
- Wash the fruit, peel where necessary and cut into bite-sized pieces; halve the grapes and segment the orange.
- Mix everything with the juice of the lemon and the orange; cut the mint into strips and fold it in.
- Leave to stand for 10 minutes, then sprinkle with the almonds.
Why alkaline
Fruit and almonds are alkaline-forming; lemon tastes sour, but the acid-base table classes it as alkaline-forming.

Tip from the kitchen
In winter, make it with oranges, grapefruit and pomegranate seeds — then the salad turns red and bittersweet.
